The invasion has begun!

The long awaited sequel to Captain Hampton, Lobsters From Space!, is now online and ready to watch. The premiere party went very well. A lot of great people showed up, lots of good food, some DDR happening, and from the looks of it, everyone enjoyed my newest creation. Is it better than the first? You be the judge. Go watch it!

Relaxed......so relaxed... i haven't felt this good about nothing in particular in a long time.

I finished the cartoon last night. All in all, it turned out very nice. I'm pleased. The downside is the file is abnormally huge. I'm eventually going to have to do a major overhaul of the whole thing to reduce file size...but for the sake of tomorrow's premier, it will do. I hope it does actually work though.

Today wasn't a very good day until the past few hours. I've been all over the place emotionally. It's nice how things have just sortve worked out now. I'm at peace.

Tomorrow is the party. Looking forward to seeing you people there. Should be a lot of fun (provided it doesnt rain... then it should be a lot of chaos and madness).

The end is near... so close I can taste it... it tastes like lobster...

Hmm what's happened recently. Not a whole lot I guess. Friday I went to a pageantry competition with Laura and Kristin and Neal. That was fun. I spent the entire rest of the weekend at my computer, working on my cartoon.

Saturday is the "premier". I hope the cartoon works. I've been having a lot of problems...the file is abnormally huge. We'll see what happens.

Recap of recently happenings in chewy's life. Four day weekend (with the exception of saturday, which was awesome) was kinda blah like. Sunday I helped pohl with flash, monday I did manual labor (moved dirt around). Tuesday night I went to the orchestra concert, first half was bleh, second half was amazing. I think the bus rides were more of the higlight of that evening, with the concert and seeing the new hybrid watercoaster being built at seaworld tieing for second. Wednesday I hung out with Laura in the rain and such before her practice and while waiting for neal to come get me. Charlene, Kristin and I went out with the Bussetts to the souplantation fund raiser. Assorted madness ensued wednsday evening, in various forms. Whatever. As for today, well it's just about almost friday already now, this week went by quickly, but this weekend is going to go by even quicker. Oh yeah, party details. Party on Saturday, February 28th from 5pm - Midnight, I will be unveiling Lobsters From Space, and we will also be watching mass amounts of Invader Zim and participating in other forms of madness I suspect. The cartoon will go online the following day (the 29th) at 5pm. I'll give out invitations on Monday.

ps: I've one week to finish Lobsters... wish me luck.

Wonderful, outstanding, perfect-in-every-way type of day today. Started off kinda weird, I woke up and made egg mcmuffins (i get better everytime i make them), and then my dad needed help around the house. I painted cabinet doors with primer for about and hour and then went with my dad to home depot to get woodchips. Then I took a shower and such.

At 4, Laura came over. We watched The Nightmare Before Christmas. Or I think maybe just she watched it, as I sat there and enjoyed her presence. After that we did more of the "enjoying eachothers presence" thing. I gave her my present- a necklace and a giant cholcolate kiss. We then ate at panda express and saw 50 First Dates. I guess half of RBV's population also saw it. I only recognized one person as they were all sophomores it seems. I wouldn't know. Anyway, movie wasn't bad, it was entertaining. There was plenty to complain about, but I'm not going to do it. I couldn't have asked for more out of today, I hope she had as good a time as I did.

So the week was short, which was cool. Next week is also short, because this weekend we have 4 days off. After school today i ate lunch at in n out with neal, kyle, paul and blake. we marched in a straight line everywhere and sang another brick in the wall. we also listened to mass amounts of techno in the car.

Neal and Paul came over after that. Neal tried to set up my network, no success. Meanwhile, Paul and I watch portions of Pink Floyd the Wall. We left after that and went to the academic team match. Laura was sick from school today, so I saw her there. The freshman and jv teams dominated, i dont know how varsity went, i didnt watch it. paul and i were too busy wreaking assorted havoc on the school. at one point, paul and neal tried to ditch me by running away. paul tripped over a large pile of garage bags and went flying. literally, flying. he got at least 3 seconds of airtime. im surprised he didnt break his head, it was the most incredible wipe out ive seen in person. he walked away only scratched up a bit. we all got a good laugh.

I'm really not up to writing anymore right now, but I just thought I'd leave you with that amusing anecdote.

Found this in Brillo's away message:

"Have you ever wondered why firetrucks are red? Well, there are eight men and four wheels on a firetruck. Eight plus four equals twelve. There are twelve inches in a ruler. Queen Mary was a ruler. Queen Mary was also a ship. Ships sail on the sea. Fish live in the sea. Fish have fins. The Fins fought the Russians. And the Russians wore red. That's why firetrucks are red."

Bye.

"Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls... Disneyland proudly presents our spectacular festival pageant of nighttime magic and imagination in thousands of sparkling lights and electro-syntho-magnetic musical sounds..."

Week went by slow. Tonight we had pepband, rbv lost again. I got to watch blast and go to am pm before the game though, so yay for me. I spent most of the game reading a chapter in Mouse Tales about a Hippie riot in the early 70's at Disneyland, where they had to bring in riot squads and such. Learn something new everyday. Right now I'm doing nothing of particular importance, tomorrow I'm spending the day with Laura (yay), and then Sunday I suspect I'll be back to doing nothing of particular importance again. Blah, I need my car back; I'm spending much more time in this house than I'd like to. I got a copy of "The Complex" by Blue Man Group. Awesome CD. That was random. Ok I'm done. Sewiously.

Howdy ya'll. I'm feeling bored and tired and kinda weird right now so posting a blog seemed like the thing to do. I had no hw tonight, nor will i have any tomorrow night. I love the CAHSEE schedule. Poor sophomores.

Sunday was the superbowl, I watched the first quarter and parts of the 4th. It was alright. I talked to Laura after, while pretending to watch the premier of Survivor Allstars. Not a real fabulous day sunday, but not bad. Today in econ we watched superbowl commercials (even from years past as well). I swear it's the most random class I've ever taken. I'm so far failing to see what any of what we've done so far has to do with anything. Oh well. The teacher is a really nice guy. I bit of a geek, but a nice guy nonetheless. Anyway....yah... I don't have a whole lot to say. I'll end this now.

PS: Here's one of many new billboards being installed around Disney's California Adventure as theming for the new Tower of Terror (the ride opens in may, and my freakout has officially begun... forgive me).
