Alright, now that I feel like writing, here's the details on this past saturday.

At around 3:45 in the afternoon I went around and picked up everyone (pohl, neal, and ben). We listened to blue man group and some aquabats on the way up to costa mesa, and the ride was fun. Got there around 5:45 (hit traffic, had to follow my dad around it on sideroads). My dad and sister's were in another car, and when we got there, they took off. We got to park in a VIP lot, and this, along with everything else that happened that evening aside from food )and rides for my sisters), were all free, via my dad's super chain of connections. So no worries about parking. We all split up to get food, a fried twinkie and a plate of austrailian battered potatoes for me. We ate and then checked ou the visual art exhibits. There were some really good animation entries in the fair. Those were really funny. Didn't see any flash animations though.

Next came the concert. Beforehand, we ran out to the car to grab a bunch of weird al stuff, and then went to the arena. Outside of the areana dr demento was in a booth dj'ing, and we had seen in from the car earlier when we were about to park, but everyone was temporarily star struck to say anything. Anyways, we didn't have to wait in any line to get into the arena seeing as we had special VIP seats. We went in to look for our seats, it turned out that the VIP section were center stage sections of the first 5 rows, and it just so happened that when we got there, no one was sitting in the front row! HELL YES. Ben immediately gave my dad a hug with the words "Sir, I am in awe of your greatness...". Dr. Demento introduced the concert, and it began. The concert was extremely cool. During the song "your horoscope" when he said the line "all virgos are extremely friendly and intelligent", he pointed straight at me and sang "except for YOU". He sang various pickup lines to my sisters during "wanna b ur lovr". The coolest interaction had to be during "Smells Like Nirvana", when during a part of the song he sang with water in his mouth, and when he was finished, he spit the water out at ben, neal, pohl and I (it only hit us 4), and then threw the plastic cup he was drinking from in our directions. Ben caught it, pohl took it and drank the rest of the water from it, and then Ben took it back. The rest of the concert went on great, and it was all hilarious and loud and perfect. Seriously, he was no more than 5 feet away from us.

After the concert was a story in itself. My dad works with a guy who is weird al's first cousin, and because of such, some strings were pulled, and we ended up going backstage. He was sitting at a table and people were getting autographs from him. His cousin person introduced my dad to him and then we all got to take a really cool picture with him. Pohl and I both noticed his hair smelled really good. After that we all got various things signed. Pohl and I both had cd's to get signed, Neal his paper poodle hat, and, Ben? That plastic drinking cup he caught during the concert. Weird Al seemed like a very nice guy. He wasn't all crazy and such like he appears on tv, but he was just very polite. We didn't have much time backstage after that, as technically we really weren't supposed to be there. But we left, got some more food (a cinnamon roll for me), and left, all very hyper and excited like. When the four of us got back in my car, we put in my signed poodle hat cd for one last listen (I'll have to copy it and listen to the copy from now on), and blasted the volume. A VERY awesome, super killer, totally freaking amazing night. Probably won't ever happen again.
It's around midnight, I'm up and bored and not talking to anyone. So, I thought I'd have a go at this (from brytni's journal):

For lack of better things to write about, here's the movies I've seen this summer, and how many time's I've seen them. Just for me to keep track of.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban - 5
Shrek 2 - 3
DodgeBall - 2
Spiderman 2 - 2
I, Robot - 2
Anchorman - 2
The Day After Tomorrow - 1
Troy - 1
Fahrenheit 9/11 - 1
The Terminal - 1

Saturday I'm seeing going to the oc fair and seeing Weird Al. I'm probably going to DLR for two days next week (staying a night with my cousin, chris). Hopefully, I'm going to see The Aquabats in concert next saturday. Still looking for a job, also. That about sums up since last update. Not much else going on with me.

ps: my cartoon "Attack of the Jiggly Baby Robots" won a first place ribbon at the San Diego County fair. I'm currently adding to the cartoon, and the finished, new version of the cartoon will probably be called "I, Jiggly" (or I, Baby? I don't know.) I'll put it up here when I'm satisfied with it.

Well... I'm bored, and I haven't written anything in a while. Time for an update.

Where to start... hmm... well school's been out for a few weeks. Graduation was alright, it wasn't as painful as I thought it could've been, so that worked out well. Had dinner that evening at Black Angus with Laura, pohl and brytni, my cousin, and my aunt, and the rest of my family. That worked out well. My friends got along well with my cousin, nicole, who is the same age as me. That made me happy. Laura bought me the new Seal cd for graduation and a nice card, and my parents got me a disneyland resort annual pass. Which is awesome. I get access to both parks for 365, with free parking (which normally costs $9 - ouch.) and discounts on about a million things around the resort. That made me happy.

The very next day I decided to try out my pass. It was a bit odd going by myself, but a strange kind of satisfaction came from it knowing I could go wherever I wanted without restriction, and knowing that I didn't have to worry about other people with me wanting to do things I didn't. I walked around both parks a lot, did some rides, and watched fantasmic, which I haven't seen in 5 years. I freaking love that show.

After that, I spent a lot of time with Laura before she had to leave. I think in the last week before she left I saw her jsut about every day of the week. That was nice. But now I won't see her until shortly before bandcamp starts. So we'll see how that works out.

Other misc. stuff I've done... hmm.... well I've gone to the disneyland resort a few more times, once with Lona and John, another time with Nicole (this was when I saw Dennis Rodman at DCA). I've got a few more trips planned for soon, probably a Disneyland trip with John and Lona, and maybe a few random trips with my cousins who are visiting. I've ridden the new Tower of Terror 9 times already, and I'm starting to remember safety spiels and other random things around DCA, so I think I need a break from that park right now. I've almost got the pass payed off (in uses), and it's only been a little over a month since I've had it.

I also went on a 4 day trip to Arizona with ted and his dad, we went camping once again. That was a lot of fun. Ther was this strange stretch of highway that we've dubbed the largest (and most perverted) guestbook in the world, but I'll detail on that more once I get some pictures developed (never). I've seen a lot of movies this summer also. I saw Spider Man twice, Dodgeball twice, Shrek 3 times, and Harry Potter a whole 4 times. I also saw The Day After Tomorrow, Fahrenheit 9/11, and Troy. Of all those movies, the only one I really didn't like was the Day After Tomorrow. I even kind of enjoyed 9/11, even though I disagreed with almost all of the movie. Today I'm planning on seeing The Terminal.

That should do it for now. I think I'm pretty much all caught up. I'll try to keep this thing updated more often, whether people read it or not.
