Today we saw a guitar fish at the aquarium. What do you call a group of guitar fish swimming together? Read to the end of the post to find out.
So yeah, last night I had pep band. RBV lost again, but it's still fun to watch the game (for free at that). Jonathon was amazed by my Mouse Tales book, and couldn't stop reading tales from the chapter on deaths and accidents at disneyland. After the game I started freaking out... i really dont remember why. Anyone who was there after the game can testify. Neal and Kyle came and took me to Toms burgers, where they were still selling breakfast. I kept bugging neal to go to ihop, but i still got my pancakes. We made a pass by Laura's and Kyle pulled his little stunt again. In trying to restrain him, not only did I fail at the attempt, I cuased some kind of injury to my elbow. Whatever. Anyway, my erratic behavior (combined with neal being a whiney poopypants) caused Neal to take me home.
Today we went to the aquarium to find nemo. We found Dory instead. Yay. There were an awful lot of little children there. I don't mind small children, though I can't say the same about Laura, and expecially Kristin. Stayed there a few hours, drove back, ate at rubios (i had a very good carne asada quesadilla), then Neal dropped Laura and I off at my house. Confusion ensued, and Laura and I ended up meeting Kristin and Neal at Jeff McCoy's eagle court of honor. Saw some peoples, played "bother bother bother", then the four of us left and neal tried to stalk my mom and sisters at the movies. unsuccessful. took twins home, then took me home. lovely day today. enjoyed spending time with laura, as usual. the word "perfect" comes to mind.
So what do you call a group of guitar fish swimming together?
...a school of rock. hahahahahaha. I'm so funny.

hmm....bloggity blog blog blog... it's thursday night and I'm bored, and I should be doing something productive, like working on my cartoon...but ehh... it's thursday night. tomorrow is friday... this week went by pretty fast because of the 3 day weekend last week. i've gotten used to my new schedule now. i think i might even enjoy it somewhat...cept for the wind2 part. oh well.
I realized the survey thing was kinda lame, so I made an "about me" type page to replace it, which is VERY lame. I kept some of the survery questions in there.
lets do some shoutouts. give lona another chance to call me a hypocrite.
laura: :)
ted: the
neal: shutup
pohl: yo
lona: hi thx for the book
everyone else: youre all cool bye
whee that was fun... but I don't think I'll ever be doing that again. Hope you enjoyed it while it lasted.

Okaaaaaay time for another update. This is a long one.
Friday: 'twas my last day of finals, and I was glad to be rid of them. I practiced after school for a while with the low brass ensemble Ms. T signed us up for. Practice was fine. I went and got some food and then went home. At about 6:30 I went with Neal to Beth's surprise sweet 16. We got her a card that said "Happy 3rd Birthday"; I thought it was very appropriate for her. Underclassmen parties often seem very erractic and spastic for me, but I had a good time with Laura, when she showed up. Everyone watched Finding Nemo before people started going home. After we went home, Neal and I played go-touch-all-the-freeways-in-san-diego. That was fun.
Saturday: I woke up, showered, and ate some of my *perfected* egg mcmuffin sandwiches i made quickly. Then, Scott came and picked me up at around 2 to go practice at RBV for the SCSBOA Solo/Ensemble Festival. We (me, Scott, John, Tye, and Ian) played through the song a few times and then headed up to Westview high. The ride up was quite interesting. John was trying to take inspired pictures (being very picky about the placement of my elbow), and Tye was playing with some pornographic program he had on his palm pilot. Tye started freaking out when we got to the highschool, because of the memories from championships. It was somewhat nostalgic though. Anyway, we toured the campus, where the quad looked more like the entrance to a fancy theme park, and then we warmed up. Mr Weirather, followed by Ted, showed up to support us. We met some girl from Westview named Dana, who was kinda freakin us all out. Except John. Teehee.
We went in, played the piece for the judge, who I guess was the director from Roosevelt middle school. He spent 15 minutes critiquing us... didn't look very positive. We ended up with a superior though... with very few marks at all. Micro-details were our problems. All of us were pleasantly surprised. We drove headed back and then ate at jack in the box at escondido. We had an interesting conversation about metro-sexuality (ie: about John), and then sang bohemian rhapsody in the car. Later, Neal, Kyle and I went to go try and find where this party for kevin aboy was being held at (because I knew Laura was there). It was near 10 when we finally went out (he was at a magic tourny all day), so when we found the house we decided not to go in. We drove to Del Taco, Kyle and I shouted "AHHHHH MOTHERLAND" serveral times while Neal was ordering, Kyle walked through the drive through to get a refill, Neal and I saw a guy walking around shaking a plastic bag in his mouth, I rolled around in the backseat eating fruit rollups, I stole one of Neals tacos, and other assorted chaos took place in the Del Taco parking lot. We drove by Laura's house, where I joked that I should yell "HI LAURA" out the window. Well, Kyle decided it would be a good idea to shout it himself.. Neal made several passes by the house, involving me getting my fingers rolled up in the window several times, me tackling kyle to keep his mouth shut, and Neal swerving all over the place due to his trying to drive and hold me off of Kyle. Eventually kyle succeeded and neal drove away... I wasn't happy. oh well. We then played go-touch-the-wild-animal-park... while brainstorming for my next cartoon after lobsters. Then he took me home. Thank God.
Sunday: I woke up and did a boxing work out. I haven't since before bandcamp, when I was in preparation for the hordes of pushups I was going to give the section that I coudn't do myself. Anyway, yeah. I'm out of shape. I always finish with these exercises with my dad where I do a situp, punch on a practice pad a few times while im up, go down, and then he hits me in the stomach with the other practice pad. I totaled 100 of those. I'm still sore as I write this. After I showered I talked on the phone with Laura for like 2 and half hours about evening plans. We eventually ended up going out with Neal and Kristin to eat at mimi's cafe. We were going to go see butterfly effect, but we missed it. Instead, we drove up to UCSD so Laura could show us the cool Drama hall and the even cooler library. Driving home sitting with Laura was great- we can go the whole time not saying anything and i still feel like we just talked for hours anyway. I felt very confortable and blissfull next to her. After we took them home I got a slurpee and then went home myself.
Monday (today): The four of us went to the Wild Animal Park. Neal got us all annual passes...I really dont know why, but i'm not complaining. We somehow became separted from Kristin and Neal about half an hour into the day. Wasn't our fault... We rejoined them at park closing. We ate at Rally's and then went back to my house to watch Mystery Men. Unfortunately, Laura and Kristin's curfue prevented us from watching the movie. Instead, we watched some flash cartoons, some zim, and illuminations. We took them home, got ice cream, drove around, and then I got on my computer and started blogging.
At the moment, I'm finishing off this post, and working on lobsters. I'm hoping on having a premier party on "Leap Year's Eve". Not confirmed yet, though. Okay, I'm sore, tired, and through with writing. Incase I don't see ya, good afternoon, good evening and goodnight.

"I'm in love... Yes, that's right. Love. Unexpected for me really considering the pointless age I've managed to drag myself to, but there you go... the target of my affection? Well, it's like this:
There I was, walking quietly around the park, swinging the lead, as I'm known to do on nothing days as this was. Anyway, there's this swing that as a girl I would frolic under as the big boys swung overhead... Anyway, I digress. There she was, swinging on this swing... I say swinging - it was more a drag as her arms being a full 6 metres long were scraping on the floor. Anyway (again), I walked over and asked if she wanted a push. She grunted what I assumed was a yes and gave her an almighty push... "Weeeeeeee", she screamed, as her body, and indeed all of her left the swing and landed in an ice-cream van killing both her and Mario the ice-cream man (who I later found out changed his name from Kevin in 1984 in homage to Donkey Kong).. An ambulance arrived and out walked the sexiest nurse I've ever seen. No wooden legs, no disabilities of any kind as I no longer class no arms as a disability... Anyway (yet again), she looked over at me and smiled her toothless smile and I smiled back... So, I'm dancing on air... albeit in prison, but I'm dancing... and when i get out she's mine, Oh yes... she said she would wait for me... Young love. Oh yes." -norton

Continuing four day weekend coverage....
Yesterday (sunday) I woke up pretty late after having one of the best night's sleep I've had in a very long time (campfire smell mixed with emotion I believe). Paul and his friend Monica randomly showed up at my door while I was still in my clothes I wore to bed, and just finished "breakfast". They wanted me to go to game crazy with them, so I hastily struggled to gain a decent sense of conciousness and get changed in a few minutes. I came back to the door to find that paul's brother john and his sister jenny were there also. On the walk over I noticed everyone was wearing a black, geeky shirt. chewy:spiderman, paul:"one world" band shirt, jenny: lotr, john: nintendo. Monica wore a greedday shirt, which wasn't too geeky but it was still black. We looked like a very geeky gothic type gang. It was fun. John bought a bunch of games, Paul bought sonic advneture 2, and monica and i played with the weird ps2 eye toy. We then all went to tacobell, ate lunch, and walked home.
Then I got a call from Laura and the usual 4 of us went to see big fish. It was a great movie, very Tim Burton, not a whole lot else to be said. I had a nice time out.
Today not much happened until the evening. I slept late again, I made eggs, I watched the matrix reloaded, and i did some random finals studying and interneting. I went out with Laura in the evening, our first real "date" I guess you could say. I asked her out at their party on sat (and she accepted); a little piece of information I chose to omit from earlier posts for some odd reason. As expected, I had a very nice time out with her. No akwardness, as such situations have the potential for. We saw Pay Check, which was a decent movie, nothing very groundbreaking, but entertaining nonetheless. I think she enjoyed herself. I did.
Something new can be found under the random stuff section of my site today, something random that the cabin boy wrote. I contributed to it a little. Go check it out now!

I'm feeling very relaxed right now, on so many different levels. The evening could not have turned out better. Kristin's maniacal logistics put Neal and I at a parking lot about 150 yards from the campsite they were staying at, so we had to foot it. A lot of underclassmen showed up, but luckily they were all the ones I could tolerate, most of them I actually like to be around. The site was on a cliff overlooking the beach. Everyone went down the cliff to the beach soon after we got there (to the "waterness") and all got frostbitten in our feet by the cold water. At one point, various people started getting a little too energetic and started sparring with large bamboo sticks. Joey Sturges sparred against a large rock. Jen forgot which way north is. Jonathon feared the cops would come because we climbed on the lifegaurd tower. During the madness I took a walk down the beach with laura. It was very nice. After all that, we went back to the site and ate, and then sat and bonfired. Jimmy melted plastic cups around a large wooden stick. Eventually we went back down to the beach and had a "flashlight adventure". I was a human lighthouse. The waves at high tide in the dark caused running and screaming. We went back after the continuing madness dissipated, and they opened presents, and then everyone was entranced by the bonfire yet again. We also had a blues clues sing along. The party was so much fun, and everyone enjoyed themselves. After the party I had a 3x3 at in n out and drove with neal to san diego and back, for no real reason. I still smell like campfire at the moment, which is a scent that for some reason makes me feel very relaxed. I seem to always sleep well after campfires. But I have more than one reason to sleep well tonight.

OK so I did not have a good night when I came home last night. Things are a little better right now, but probably because I'm home alone. Anyway, before last nights madness, I actually had quite an enjoyable evening. Neal, Kyle and I went to eat at BK and then Neal and I went to shop for presents for Kristin and Laura. Neal was being whiny and decided he would come back the next day, leaving me to shop alone. After that we went back to my house to see what Derek was up to, and he and Ben were hottubbing. So we went over there and found also Apryl (brillo's sister) and this guy Art, who didn't talk much but he was still pretty cool. We went to cold stone, I got a shake, and then we went back to the house and watched chicago.
The weirdest thing happened between eating at bk and going to the mall yesterday. First watch THIS flash video. Anyway, Neal and Kyle put on their burger king crowns upside down. While we were in the car neal said something along the lines of "i feel like a viking". they both immediately started singing immigrant song from led zeppelin. 5 seconds later the song started on the radio, and it was the scariest thing. He turned it up all the way and we all sung. I think I'll leave you with that music.
Happy b-day laura (and kristin). teehee.

Finally its the weekend... this week has gone by so slow for me. I have a massive headache right now, I guess because I've been home longer than an hour. You know what I hada reason for starting this post and I just realized I lost myself. Whatever. bleh..
...where am i?
ofijfijoserfvs I'm tired. Tomorrow is laura and kristin's birthday party at the beach, which will be very fun, no doubt about that. i should proly go buy presents. yeah...
i think I'll do that....
anyway i thought I had news but i can't remember now, so i'll just make it simple and say that this past week was entirely unimportant. goodbye for now.

Hey everyone you're not going to believe this. God signed my guestbook!
He's been to my website! That's got to make this the number one site on the net...
Go check out the guestbook... and while you're at it, how about signing it yourself as well?

Ok. So yesterday I kinda freaked out. I normally wouldve deleted that post, but I'm going to go ahead and leave it (and the attached piece of "artwork") just for the record. Audition results for band didn't turn out quite like i hoped (though im not surprised). Also, an eruption on the homefront and a few other random things splintering in my mind (underneath the rapidly returning stresses of school and mainly calculus) led to what was not a very pleasurable day. My only highlights were probably listening to 3 old guys arguing about a fence for 45 minutes, and then talking to laura on the phone for a while. I'll go ahead and keep that piece of flashwork up until i feel like taking it off, but it's a pretty accurate representation of how my day went yesterday.

Yesterday I discovered the secret behind the McDonalds Egg McMuffin sandwich. I can now perfectly replicate the breakfasty goodness of its taste. That's about the only thing worth noting about yesterday. I spent most of the day practicing for auditions.

Thursday: ted came over. We collaborated on Lobsters From Space, came up with some good ideas. The cartoon is turning out quite nicely. We also listened to Frank Zappa and ate shrimp coctail. Fun stuff.
Friday: I got up a bit earlier to go to my aunt's house to take down her Christmas lights. No problems. Later, Jonathan Hawley had a poker party. He gave 10 dollar target gift certifcates to two winners, which I thought was very generous of him. I didn't win a single round, but I had a lot of fun nonetheless. I'm a little dissapointed the prizes weren't meatballs though...
In the evening, I went out to eat with ln&k at pick up stix, where we saw desiree who gave us mass amounts of fortune cookies. We all ate our fortunes to make sure they come true (they don't come true if you only eat the cookie). I found out Kristin's nickname, thanx to Laura. Teehee. Then we saw "Something's Gotta Give". Nice, enjoyable movie, though I could've done without so much coverage of the backside of Jack Nicholson. The movie was entirely predictable, but hey at least it made me feel smart for two hours of my life. The evening was, yet again, a very relaxing and yet very exicting evening. Couldn't have asked anything more of it.
As for the site, I'm going to try and have "Lobsters" finished by the end of January. No promises though. The block on the Flash Movies page will remain TBA for the moment. Things are coming together quite nicely though.

New Years Eve was nice. It didn't turn out exactly how I had hoped it might've.... but ehh, that's what I get for not making plans. I went to Derek's house, Neal and El Stevo were there also. We chatted in the hot tub and then watched the ball drop in New York while I quite appropriately yelled "THIS IS THE BEST DECEMBERWEEN EVER". They kept showing footage of Disneyland and Disneyworld, and I kept freaking out. It was unbearable for everyone else. We talked for a bit, watched bad musical acts on tv, and then watched "The Potter Puppet Pals" episodes 1 and 2 and "Squirrel Banter" on Derek's computer. Search the net for them, they are hilarious. Afterwards we went and got ted. We drove by lawrences house for absolutely no reason, and then by steve's. Then they took me home, 20 minutes before I had to be home. Whatever. The evening was fun, despite the fact that it did feel like there was something (someone) missing.
Night before I went out with LN&K (laura, neal, kristin... becoming a normal thing). Ate at In n Out, then saw Cold Mountain. The movie was good. Not much else to say about it. Very relaxing and yet exciting evening. Had a great time.
Happy New Year from all of us (me) at THE FRAVIT NETWORK
